The Taihang LZL mass flowmeter consists of two parts: an LZLG sensor and an LZLB transmitter. Its working principle is based on the Coriolis principle. Two parallel flow tubes inside the sensor vibrate in opposite directions with their resonant frequencies. Any mass flow passing through the flow tube will generate a Coriolis effect, causing a time difference between the vibration of the two ends of the vibrating tube. The transmitter can calculate the mass flow rate of the circulating medium by measuring this time difference. As shown in the figure.
The vibration frequency of the sensor vibrating tube varies with the density of the flowing medium. The transmitter measures the resonance frequency of the vibrating tube as it changes with the passing medium, which can determine the density of the medium.
There is a precision temperature measurement sensor inside the instrument, which can directly measure and output the temperature of the medium. At the same time, temperature can also be used for internal compensation flow and density measurement.
Therefore, the Coriolis mass flowmeter can directly measure the mass flow rate, density, and temperature of the medium, as well as calculate the volumetric flow rate.
